Raisins  
  Raisins are dried grapes processed from sunlight or electric oven drying. Through this process the liquid water form of the grapes are dehydrated and ready for a long term storage without any preservatives. Some of the known raisins are Muscam, Monukka, Sultana, Malaga, Zante Currant and Thompson. The scientific name of raisin is Vitus vinifera.

Raisins can be easily identified by its wringled skin and varied colors includes deep brown or coffee brown, golden yello and purple hue.
