Japan’s Natural Calamity

A 8.9 magnitude earth quake was struck Japan in the previous month. This earth quake is the worst natural disaster that hit Japan in nearly 100 years. It is the worst disaster Japan has faced since world war II. This is not only a earth quake but also a tsunami is also generated. And these waves that have hit so far have been as high as 10 meters. What was actually happened is that the waves have gone into the coast in cities such as Sendal and they have carried back out to sea buildings, cars, trucks, homes and other structures. There is also reported a very big number of death toll. There is also reported a billions of dollars damage to other facilities.

Japan really has not faced this type of losses in modern times. Due to this earth quake the Japan’s economy has not been in good shape. This is going to be a very big blow to any industry that relies on production. Surely the construction industry will expand. There is also going to be a massive rebuilding effort. The focus in the next days and weeks is going to be on search and rescue. Looking to the size of the demolition from both the quake and the tsunami, there is many suspect that thousands of people will be trapped and missing. The military in Japan is already getting into the act, aircraft are flying north to survey damages, ships are leaving from the naval port, heading north. Hundreds of members of the police force and the self defence forces are being dispatched. Anyway there is many people suspect that additional tsunamis will hit again.
