Cantaloupe
Cantaloupe refers to two varieties of muskmelon which is a species in the family Cucurbitaceae. Cantaloupes are typically 15–25 cm in length and are somewhat oblong, though not as oblong as watermelons. Like all melons, cantaloupes grow best in sandy, well-aerated, well-watered soil that is free of encroaching weeds. The cantaloupe originated in India and Africa.

Cantaloupes range in color from orange, yellow, and salmon with musky aroma that emanates through the melon when it is ripe. Inside the cantaloupes we see a hollow cavity that contains their seeds encased in a web like encasement.

Cantaloupes contributes, promotes lung health and protect eye vision.

Cantaloupe is rich in vitamin A, vitamin C, potassium , dietary fiber, vitamin B3 or niacin, vitamin B6 and folate.
